About Bill Smith

Bill Smith has received numerous awards on the state, national, and international levels. Bill is a Master Craftsman Photographer, which is the highest level of knowledge and performance recognized by the Professional Photographers of America. Bill's work has been displayed in P.P.A. International Exhibitions since 1988. He is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, The American Society of Professional Photographers, The Southeastern Professional Photographers, The Master Photographers of Great Britain , and has served as President of the Music City Professional Photographers Association, as well as Executive Secretary. Bill has also served as a Judge for the Professional Photographers of America. Bill has trained other professional photographers at the local, state, regional, and national levels. He was a platform speaker addressing the Wedding Photographers International Convention at Las Vegas in 1991, and gave two programs at the 1993 Professional Photographers of America International Convention. In 1997 Bill received the "National Award", which is the highest honor that Professional Photographers of America bestows on just one individual annually whose life has made outstanding contributions to the profession of photography.
